Assistant Director Of Sales – CORPORATE ROLE OVERVIEW The Assistant Director Of Sales – CORPORATE is responsible for driving revenue through the acquisition, retention, and growth of corporate accounts. This role focuses on maximizing room revenue, MICE opportunities, corporate events, and long-term business partnerships while maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers, travel managers, and corporate clients. The ideal candidate must have a strong network, excellent negotiation skills, and proven experience in 5-star or luxury hospitality within the GCC market. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Corporate Account Management Develop and manage a portfolio of high-value corporate clients. Conduct regular sales calls, site inspections, and client entertainment activities. Ensure consistent communication, relationship building, and account retention. Create and implement account plans to grow market share and revenue. 2. Sales & Revenue Generation Meet and exceed monthly and yearly revenue targets. Identify new business opportunities through market research, competitor analysis, and networking. Drive sales for rooms, meeting spaces, banqueting, and long-stay business. Maintain an accurate and updated sales pipeline in the CRM. 3. Negotiation & Contracting Prepare and negotiate corporate rate agreements, RFPs, and long-term contracts. Ensure alignment with hotel pricing strategy and revenue management guidelines. Present proposals, close deals, and maintain strong follow-up. 4. Market Intelligence & Strategy Track market trends, competitor activities, and client movements. Work closely with Revenue, Marketing, and Operations teams to forecast and strategize. Share insights to support overall business development and pricing strategies. 5. Client Engagement & Events Host corporate events, client gatherings, familiarization trips, and networking events. Represent the hotel at trade shows, exhibitions, and corporate forums. Maintain post-event follow-ups to secure repeat business. 6. Administration & Reporting Maintain accurate records of sales activities and revenue results. Prepare weekly/monthly sales reports for the Director of Sales. Ensure timely account updates in the CRM and follow hotel audit standards. 7. Team Collaboration Work closely with Reservations, Front Office, F&B, and Events teams to deliver a seamless guest experience. Assist in training junior sales executives and support team sales goals. WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Hospitality (preferred). Minimum 5–7 years of experience in corporate sales in a 5-star hotel or luxury brand. Strong network of corporate clients (GCC/Kuwait market advantage). Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets. Excellent negotiation, communication, presentation skills. Strong understanding of market dynamics, corporate RFPs, and business travel. Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office. Energetic, confident, and able to perform under pressure.
