Temple University's Athletics Department is searching for an Assistant Director of Scouting. Position Summary: Reporting to the Director of Scouting, the Assistant Director of Scouting will provide high-level support and assistance to the Director of Scouting. The Assistant Director of Scouting is a pivotal role within the support staff, primarily responsible for college scouting and building transfer portal evaluations and recommendations to the coaching staff. Required Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree; two or more years of related experience. Previous experience with a division 1 Football program preferred. Knowledge of the common angles and structure used in practices and games. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Preferred: *NCAA Division I experience. *Experience with Catapult Thunder or DVSport. Required Skills & Abilities: Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office Software including Word, PowerPoint and Excel Ability to assist with budgeting, scheduling, meal planning, coaching, recruiting, scouting, and purchasing and caring for equipment. Ability to implement policies and guidelines for all Football personnel and student-athletes. Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication and organizational skills. Demonstrated problem solving, strong leadership, and team-building skills Demonstrated ability to handle and prioritize diverse tasks in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to work a highly variable schedule including nights and weekends Possess a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
