ABOUT YOU

We’re looking for a confident and collaborative early childhood leader who is ready to take the next step in their career.

You will have:

• A Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA-approved)
• At least 2-3 years’ experience in a leadership or Room Leader role
• Excellent knowledge of the NQF and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and mentoring skills
• A proactive, supportive, and team-focused leadership style
• A current Employee Working with Children Check

As the Assistant Director, you’ll work closely with the Campus Director in Glebe to ensure the smooth running of daily operations, lead your floor team, and support the delivery of high-quality early childhood education and care.

You will play a vital role in:

• Supporting and mentoring educators to reach their full potential
• Ensuring compliance and safety across all aspects of campus operations
• Building trusted, respectful relationships with families
• Contributing to a culture of learning, care, and inclusion
• Driving continuous improvement in line with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and The OAC Way
