[WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON]

  • Support the DGM (IP) in developing strategic approaches and curating community, lifestyle, sports, and wellness programmes that will encourage participation from Tampines residents across all age demographics, transforming Our Tampines Hub into a vibrant community hub.
  • Develop programmes frameworks and initiatives designed to draw Tampines residents into active participation, positioning Our Tampines Hub as the central point for sports and community engagement whilst driving initiatives that build a distinctive hub identity and brand recognition to strengthen community connections.
  • Collaborate closely with the Tampines GRC to have activities and programmes that enhance GRC identity and cultivate community spirit through joint curation of major festive celebrations at the hub.
  • Work in partnership with external and internal stakeholders, including People’s Association divisions and Tampines grassroots organisations, to design and deliver comprehensive community programmes at key community and sports facilities that address the varied needs and interests of residents whilst expanding community outreach.
  • Establish and maintain strategic alliances with government agencies and key stakeholders to strengthen community engagement and enhance the overall resident experience at the hub.
  • Develop distinctive programming for Our Tampines Hub’s signature annual celebrations, including the hub’s anniversary commemoration and year-end countdown festivities, designed to maximise resident engagement and participation.
  • Act as the venue representative for community, lifestyle, sports, and wellness activities whilst providing comprehensive support to stakeholders and event organisers during programme implementation.
  • Create and execute post-event evaluation processes to systematically enhance venue operations and service delivery.

The Assistant Director (Programming) will support the Deputy General Manager (Integrated Programming) [DGM (IP)] in developing community, lifestyle, sports and wellness programmes for residents at facilities within the OTH/Tampines GRC. This role involves conceptualising, planning, and implementing initiatives by working in close collaboration with stakeholders. The programmes are designed to meet the varied needs and interests of residents to spark and nurture community participation for a united and caring community.
