Job Description We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Assistant Director – Sales to lead our luxury and travel trade operations in Udaipur, India. In this pivotal role, you will drive sales strategy, build and mentor high-performing teams, and cultivate strategic partnerships with key clients in the luxury travel sector. The ideal candidate will combine professional expertise with decisive leadership and a customer-focused approach to achieve organizational sales objectives. Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies for the luxury and travel trade segment to achieve revenue targets and market expansion goals Lead, mentor, and manage a sales team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous professional development Build and maintain strategic relationships with key clients, travel agencies, tour operators, and corporate partners in the luxury segment Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to identify business opportunities and inform strategic decisions Oversee sales operations, including pipeline management, deal closure, and contract negotiations with major accounts Monitor and optimize sales performance metrics, preparing regular reports and presentations for senior management Collaborate with marketing, operations, and product teams to ensure alignment on promotional campaigns and client deliverables Represent the organization at industry events, trade shows, and networking forums to enhance brand visibility and generate leads Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards in all sales activities Identify training needs within the sales team and implement programs to enhance skill sets and product knowledge Qualifications Minimum 5-7 years of progressive sales experience in the luxury and travel trade industry Proven track record of leading and managing sales teams with demonstrated success in achieving targets and driving revenue growth Strong expertise in strategic sales planning, business development, and market analysis Excellent client relationship management skills with the ability to build long-term partnerships Proficiency with CRM software and sales management tools Demonstrated ability to analyze sales data and market trends to inform strategic decisions Exceptional negotiation and closing skills with experience managing high-value accounts Experience managing P&L responsibilities and budget allocation Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools Knowledge of luxury travel market dynamics, pricing strategies, and customer segmentation Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment Preferred: Experience with luxury hospitality, premium travel packages, or high-end tourism services Additional Information An opportunity to be with world’s preferred hospitality company Captivating and rewarding experience working alongside passionate professionals Range of exclusive Heartist Benefits Develop your talent through learning programs by Academy Accor.
