[What the role is] The Aviation Industry Division seeks to support the development and transformation of Singapore’s air hub, to ensure its continued growth and competitiveness. [What you will be working on] You will play a key role in (i) fostering partnerships through account management of key aviation stakeholders; (ii) formulating and implementing industry development policies with a focus on the air cargo and ground handling sectors, and (iii) developing and evaluating grant proposals from aviation companies to support their capacity development and service innovation. This will involve developing long-term policies to support the air hub’s growth, particularly in the transformation of airport operations and in air cargo. You will craft policy papers and presentations to substantiate the policy direction and strategies CAAS is taking to drive industry transformation. In addition, you will account manage key stakeholders in the air transport sector, supporting their enterprise development plans and efforts. This would include partnering companies in developing and implementing innovative solutions to enhance passenger experience and airport operations through automation and digitalisation, and to administer grants awarded by CAAS to catalyse and accelerate such projects. You will also work closely with relevant Divisions and colleagues within CAAS to track and monitor the impact of innovation and productivity efforts and grants to ensure the sector is future-ready and resilient, as well as external government partners such as EDB and JTC. [What we are looking for] Training in any discipline, preferably Business, Economics, or other relevant disciplines Minimum 5 years working experience with 2-3 years in public policy, preferably in industry development or account management Independent and resourceful self-starter, with drive and initiative and able to engage wide variety of stakeholders independently to identify new opportunities for partnership Strong writing and presentation skills, with the ability to convey your views clearly and succinctly Strong team player, with the ability to work closely with multiple stakeholders across both public and private sector agencies Meticulous, self-motivated and resourceful Note: Your appointment designation will be commensurate with your relevant work experience.
