Our client is actively searching for an Assistant Director, Strategic Planning to join their team!

Reporting to the Dean, the incumbent will actively coordinate the strategic endeavors of the School. The role will be the key support in assisting the School’s senior management in the formulation and execution of strategic priorities through innovation, collaborations and engagements with internal and external stakeholders both locally and internationally.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL NEED TO HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALITIES AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Degree holder from a recognized institution
  • Minimally 8-9 years of work experience, with at least 5 to 6 years of relevant experience in international relations, partnership development and management, education programmes administration, or a related field in higher education.
  • Bilingual - spoken and written proficiency in both English and Chinese is required as the role incumbent will need to liaise with international partners as well as review Chinese speeches occasionally.
  • Prior consulting experience at management consulting firms will be a plus.
  • Prior educational or work experience in US and/or UK would be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of the education landscape, in particular with higher education
  • Knowledge of international relations, cultural diversities and sensitivities
  • Good planning, organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Good project management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Hands-on, adaptable and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • IT savvy with good knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications
  • Self-starter who is creative, proactive and resourceful.
  • Good communicator with strong inter-personal and diplomacy skills.
  • Strategic thinker, meticulous and attentive to details.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and prudence.
