MAX PAY – DEPENDS ON EXPERIENCE:

$105,000.00 USD Annual

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree and five (5) years of experience appropriate to the area of assignment/field including two (2) years managerial experience; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or training from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

With minimal oversight, Assistant Director, Supply Chain Systems develops strategy for the supply chain technology and tools and in collaboration with Office of Business and Finance technical teams. The Assistant Director leads and manages initiatives related to system implementations, new products or tools, and process improvements. The leader drives innovation and provides technical guidance and support across the supply chain function. Develops a robust knowledge of ASU’s systems and tools and requirements and builds trusted relationships with partners throughout ASU. Performs high level work of considerable difficulty and with complex and/or competing priorities. Facilitates a high-performance culture across the Supply Chain team through effective people management skills and strong communication skills. Leads, motivates and develops their staff.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • ERP and financial system implementation experience. Data science experience. Experience with supply chain planning, forecasting and inventory management. Experience with setting a technical strategy, including AI and expanding use of technology.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee technical operations and system administration for supply chain, including service level expectations
  • Ensure technology is leveraged effectively to achieve organizational goals
  • Create technical strategy and long term plan for supply chain systems and tools, including use of AI
  • Provide technical guidance and support to partners, function and team to solve technical issues
  • Drive process improvements and innovation through the use of technology to improve capabilities
  • Create technology roadmap to drive efficiency and optimize supply chain performance
  • Develops effective technical solutions to solve supply chain issues and enable visibility across supply chain
  • Foster collaboration across partners and team members
  • Troubleshoot, analyze and identify issues to ensure the technical soundness of the system
  • Set priorities and manage the day to day operations of technical solutions
  • Set guidelines for system use and develop system controls and establish audit guidelines
  • Develop team capabilities to support modernizing supply chain technology and capabilities
  • Lead identification and mitigation of system risks
  • Lead system testing and development of interfaces with other systems
  • Support audits as necessary
  • Perform other duties as assigned
