What you'll do: · The Assistant Disciplinary Counsel will be responsible for investigating and prosecuting lawyers, judges, and magistrates accused of ethical misconduct, and individuals alleged to have engaged in the unauthorized practice of law. · The Assistant Disciplinary Counsel will manage an active caseload, represent Disciplinary Counsel in hearings before the Board of Professional Conduct and the Board on the Unauthorized Practice of Law, and argue objections before the Supreme Court of Ohio. · The Assistant Disciplinary Counsel will assist in educating the bench and bar through CLE presentations, training sessions, and other outreach initiatives. · The position requires occasional travel throughout the state. The outside practice of law is prohibited.
