Our Drainage Infrastructure Engineers play an important part within the Highways Design team and alongside our client, National Highways. As an Assistant Engineer you will provide effective support and assistance to your Design Team Leader on a variety of highways drainage schemes whilst taking the lead on projects and mentoring junior designers. Responsibilities include:

• Building hydraulic models using Causeway Flow
• Preparing feasibility and detailed design submissions, fielding technical queries during the construction stage and project close out
• To work in a team, producing technically sound engineering solutions
• Preparation and checking of designs, calculations, drawings and documentation as part of the production of scheme deliverables that satisfy the criteria of quality, cost and programme
• Support effective health and safety practices within the team
