QUALIFICATIONS ET COMPÉTENCES

Position status: Temporary - Full time at 40 hours per week
Hours: 8:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

We are looking for a reliable, organized, and versatile HR Assistant (temporary) to support the HR Manager in day-to-day activities within a growing company specialized in spice manufacturing. This is a temporary position for a duration of 3 months, with the possibility of extension depending on the company’s needs.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • A diploma or certification in Human Resources, Administration, or a related field is an asset
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in an HR assistant or administrative support role
  • Good verbal and written communication skills (French and English)
  • Basic knowledge of human resources practices and administrative processes
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and reliability
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Responsibilities
  • Provide daily administrative support to the HR Manager (file management, document drafting, archiving, filing, etc.)
  • Assist with the recruitment process: posting job ads, screening resumes, scheduling interviews
  • Help prepare employment documents and support the administrative onboarding of new hires
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date maintenance of employee files and HR databases
  • Support the implementation and follow-up of the new HR Information System (ADP)
  • Track and update agency employee hours in coordination with staffing partners
  • Respond to basic HR-related employee inquiries or escalate them to the HR Manager as needed
  • Ensure HR documentation is compliant with internal policies and legal obligations
  • Actively participate in improving HR processes and supporting cross-functional projects
  • Carry out other administrative tasks related to Human Resources as required
