Description
Responsibilities: * Assist a team of economists with conducting quantitative surveys, including managing survey data, calculations, and tabulations;                                                                                                                                           * Draft simple reports on survey findings and undertake preliminary assessments on assigned research subjects; * Aid in perfecting the forecasting model and its execution; * Handle database management tasks, ensuring well-organised data storage; * Assist in calculating indexes based on instructions from the economists; * Aid in managing Hong Kong trade data; * Conduct comprehensive searches for macroeconomic data and market information as necessary, supporting researchers in developing insightful market analysis and forecasts.   Requirements: * A university degree, preferably in economics, finance, or a related discipline with a solid foundation in statistics; * Proficiency in SPSS is a must, along with skills in Microsoft Excel and database management software, such as Tableau; * Knowledge of programming languages, e.g. Python and R, is an additional advantage; * Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese; * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential; * 0-3 years of relevant experiences.
