Position Overview We’re seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant Editor to join our growing post-production team. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who thrives in a fast-paced creative environment and is eager to learn the full post-production process within an agency setting. You’ll support our Post Producer / Editor across branded content, social campaigns, experiential recaps, and digital deliverables—keeping workflows efficient and organized while taking ownership of smaller edits as you develop your craft.      Essential Job Functions  * Assist editors and producers throughout the post process, including ingesting, organizing, syncing, and archiving footage * Prepare proxy files, rough cuts, and deliverables based on post schedules and versioning needs * Maintain post calendars, asset trackers, and documentation to ensure smooth handoffs and delivery * Handle post-related paperwork, including POs and completion reports * Maintain organized asset libraries, version control logs, file naming conventions, and archival of final outputs * Coordinate with external vendors, freelancers, and production partners as needed * Track media usage rights and delivery specs per client or platform requirements * Working knowledge of project management platforms, such as Monday.com, is a plus * Support conforming, color, and sound prep; export and QC final deliverables * Take ownership of smaller edits—such as sizzle reels, social videos, and cutdowns—from start to finish * Learn from producers and creatives to develop technical and creative skills for future growth QUALIFICATIONS * 1 TO 3 YEARS AGENCY OR PRODUCTION EXPERIENCE; CAPABLE OF MANAGING SMALL ACTIVATIONS INDEPENDENTLY YEARS AGENCY * EXPERIENCE IN ADVERTISING, MEDIA, OR CREATIVE AGENCY ENVIRONMENTS A PLUS * STRONG ATTENTION TO DETAIL * EXCELLENT VERBAL AND WRITTEN COMMUNICATION ABILITIES * STRONG TIME MANAGEMENT AND MULTITASKING CAPABILITIES * COMMITMENT TO INCLUSIVITY, INTEGRITY, AND TEAM COLLABORATION   Benefits and Perks * Hybrid work model * Cell phone reimbursement  * 20 PTO days accrued annually * 19 Holidays (including shutdowns)  * Birthday off  * Shutdown for Thanksgiving week * Shutdown for Christmas week * Flex Fridays – half days on Fridays year-round  * Bereavement leave * Employee referral program * 401(k) with company match * Competitive medical, dental, and vision insurance   Equal Employment Opportunity IW Group is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and respectful work environment.  IW Group provides equal employment opportunities for all employees and applicants without regard to race, color, religion, gender, gender identification and expression, national origin, marital status, age, disability, genetic information, military status, sexual orientation, or any other protected characteristic established by local, state, or federal law.
