OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Project Manager to oversee and coordinate electrical projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical engineering and project management, with proficiency in tools such as Primavera P6 and Civil 3D. This role requires excellent time management skills and the ability to lead teams effectively while ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

REQUIREMENTS

• Candidates must have Electrical Background as an electrician looking to transition to an office based role or electrical engineering degree.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience in project management within the electrical sector.
• Proficient in using Primavera P6 for project scheduling and management.
• Familiarity with Civil 3D for design applications is advantageous.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to priorities tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

• Manage the planning, execution, and delivery of electrical projects, ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Develop project schedules using Primavera P6, monitoring progress and making adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress, address any issues that arise, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Prepare and present project updates to senior management and stakeholders, providing clear insights into project status and potential risks.
• Utilise Civil 3D for design purposes, ensuring that all technical specifications are met throughout the project lifecycle.
• Implement effective time management strategies to optimise resource allocation and enhance productivity across all phases of the project.
