Job Description 1) Executes regular inspections on lights, power outlets and all related electrical systems such as the distribution boards, substation etc… as per the electrical checklist. 2) Attends maintenance and repair calls. 3) Takes daily readings on the electric meters to evaluate consumption. 4) Notes all required spare parts and consumable material and instructs the storekeeper of the requirements 5) Follows up and executes all the works assigned by the Chief /Assistant Chief Engineer. 6) Executes all periodic preventive maintenance on all electrical distribution systems, lights, generator etc… as per the annual maintenance chart. 7) Operates electrical equipment such as pumps, blowers, air handling units etc… 8) Ensures a safe working environment for all technical staff. 9) Fully complies with the energy conservation program. Qualifications - Minimum 2 to 3 years in a professional capacity. - Relevant recognized certificate. - Comprehensive experience in operation & maintenance of electrical distribution systems, generator, the substation, transformers. - Comprehensive experience in operation and maintenance automatic controls and low voltage systems. Responsibilities

The Assistant Electrician executes regular inspections on electrical systems and attends maintenance and repair calls. They ensure a safe working environment and comply with energy conservation programs.
