Assistant ‐ Employee Relations (BASED AT VAANAVIL - KILINOCHCHI) MAS KREEDA, is a division of MAS Holdings, exclusively producing high-performance sportswear for Nike. With manufacturing facilities in Jordan, Indonesia, and Sri Lanka, MAS KREEDA delivers a competitive edge by offering quick market access and ensuring top-tier quality control. The division's product range includes Bodywear, Knit, Fleece, Tees, Woven, Sweaters, Engineered Knit, and Bras, showcasing its diverse expertise in sportswear manufacturing. We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual for a 6-month contract to strategically manage all Human Resources and Employee Relations functions within the assigned area. This role is responsible for maintaining a stable, safe, and productive workforce by overseeing key areas such as attendance, retention, compliance, and employee well-being. The ultimate goal is to enhance overall operational efficiency and employee satisfaction through the effective management of both people and systems. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Manage and reduce absenteeism and employee turnover for both the direct and indirect workforces within the respective area. Attend to and resolve employee grievances, providing timely solutions and escalating to relevant parties when necessary. Ensure high scores on all relevant audits, including the LCAT and CSA audits, and maintain accurate LUDUS data and digital records. Work closely with other departments to enhance work relations and effectively handle employee related activities. Manage on-time employee terminations through the Oracle System and ensure the accuracy of all digital data. Conduct the ER initiatives, track and follow up on all issues (3Ws), and ensure the timely clearance of monthly death donations and medical claims. Lead the implementation and promotion of digital HR applications such as e-leave, online grievance systems, HR Andon, and e-gate passes to streamline processes. Achieve the MOS calibration phase to ensure fair and consistent performance evaluations. Drive a culture of improvement by achieving the monthly target for employee suggestions and Kaizen initiatives. Provide information with regards to health and safety concerns, issues and suggestions raised by employees to compliance point person and get engaged team members for problem solving in health and safety. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS Degree or diploma in Human Resources or Business Management field. 1 year of relevant work experience. Knowledge in health and safety standards. Good communication & coordination skills. Good IT literacy.
