Description
Essential: Min 2 years (Assistant level) and 4 years (Estimator) experience in cost planning and estimating within infrastructure, transportation, or electricity transmission sectors. Ability to interpret engineering drawings and project documents. Familiarity with relevant cost estimating software and data analysis tools (CANDY and Cost X). Good understanding of standard methods of measurement (CESMM 4). Degree or working towards a degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil/Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Eligible for national security vetting (BPSS, SE) depending on project requirements. Proficiency in using relevant data analysis and visualisation tools software (Power-Bi and Tableau). Experience with low-code/no-code platforms to automate workflows, streamline data management, and support digital transformation initiatives. Experience in project cost planning for regulated companies. Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to collaborate in small teams and work independently. Passion for driving efficiency, innovation, and learning.
