Description Responsibilities Review construction drawings, specifications, and bid documents. Perform quantity takeoffs for plumbing and electrical projects. Assist in preparing estimates and bid proposals. Create and manage change orders throughout the life of a project. Request and organize pricing from vendors and subcontractors. Track project costs and assist with budget reviews. Maintain bid logs, project files, and estimating records. Coordinate with project managers, field supervisors, and customers. Assist with project scheduling and procurement activities as needed. Attend project meetings when required. Perform administrative and support tasks related to estimating and project management. Qualifications Previous construction estimating experience required. Experience in plumbing, electrical, or mechanical construction preferred. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines. Professional communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Requirements Preferred Qualifications Experience with estimating software (Bluebeam, Accubid) Basic Knowledge of construction contracts, RFIs, submittals, and change order processes.
