OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Event Manager to oversee the planning and execution of a variety of events. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences. This role requires a blend of creativity and practicality, ensuring that every event runs smoothly while meeting the needs and expectations of clients.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience in event management or a related field, with a background in hospitality preferred.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organisational skills with keen attention to detail to ensure all elements of an event are executed flawlessly.
• Experience in fundraising events is advantageous but not essential.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise effectively with clients and team members.
• Previous experience in restaurants or hotels is beneficial for understanding the nuances of guest services within an event context.

• Plan, coordinate, and execute events from conception to completion, ensuring all aspects are aligned with client objectives.
• Manage event budgets, timelines, and resources effectively to deliver successful outcomes.
• Collaborate with vendors, venues, and staff to ensure seamless logistics and high-quality service delivery.
• Upsell additional services or products to enhance the guest experience and maximise revenue opportunities.
• Provide exceptional guest services throughout the event lifecycle, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
• Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement in future events.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients to foster repeat business and referrals.
