About the Position: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Event/s Manager to support multiple FeverUp immersive experiences. This Assistant Event/s Manager will be reporting to the Event manager of each venue and responsible for supporting the Event Manager with daily operations experience, ensuring a smooth, safe, and enjoyable experience for all visitors. This role requires excellent leadership, organisational skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

Operational Management:

  • Supporting the Event Manager by ensuring the quality of the experience taking place in the venue, including cleanliness of the site, site safety, and event operations.
  • Maintenance of roster and daily checklists.
  • Assist with ordering supplies, managing merchandise stocktake, and keeping operational expenditure (OPEX) low
  • Support opening/closing procedures, cover shifts and provide operational flexibility

Event Quality:

  • Ensuring the quality of the experience of events taking place in the venue.
  • Provide a welcoming and informative introduction to all guests and have passion for delivering positive experiences to guests.
  • Handle routine customer inquiries and issues
  • Monitoring guest satisfaction, gathering feedback, and regular reporting on experience quality to Event Manager

Team Leadership and Scheduling:

  • Supervise in the absence of the Event Manager, support a team of guest attendants and technical staff, and assist training of any new staff where required.
  • Assisting with or creating staff rosters
  • Participation in management meetings in the absence of Event Manager

Health, Safety and Incident Management

  • Implement and monitor health and safety protocols.
  • Manage emergency procedures and implement first aid when necessary.
  • Formal incident reporting (e.g. for injuries or abusive behaviour) to Event Manager
  • Ensuring compliance with local laws and internal policies

Cross-Functional Liaison Work

  • Dealing with all contractors, suppliers, cleaning companies, and liaising with any external teams running an event on-site.
  • Assisting the communication with Marketing, PR, VIPs, and corporate teams for onsite activities
