JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Event Manager to oversee and coordinate various events. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality, with experience in restaurant and hotel settings. This role requires exceptional organisational skills, time management, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members. The Event Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring that each event runs smoothly, meets client expectations, and enhances the overall guest experience.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with managing event bookings, handling client enquiries, and inputting reservations into the system.
  • Assist in the drafting of client proposals, providing information on facilities, packages and bespoke options.
  • Liaise with clients to understand event requirements and help coordinate internal work schedules across teams.
  • Assist in distribution of function sheets for the upcoming week, ensuring all relevant departments are informed of all event details.
  • Work collaboratively with food & beverage teams to support the implementation of event plans, including space set up, catering arrangements, and compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
  • Maintain communication with clients throughout the planning and delivery phases to ensure satisfaction and resolve any issues that arise.
  • Facilitate communication between departments by regularly passing on accurate and timely event information.
  • Provide regular updates on requirements or issues to the Events Supervisor.
  • Degree preferred. Other relevant qualifications considered.
  • 2 years’ experience in events or hospitality industry.
