As Assistant Executive Housekeeper, you will play a key leadership role in overseeing daily housekeeping operations, ensuring impeccable standards, and fostering a positive and motivated team.
This position is based on property at Aman Rosa Alpina, San Cassiano Trentino-Alto Adige, Italy.

Responsibilities:

  • Uphold Excellence:
  • Ensure all guest rooms and public areas maintain Aman’s highest standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and aesthetics.
  • Guest Satisfaction:
  • Respond promptly to guest requests, providing seamless and personalized service, particularly for repeat guests.
  • Team Leadership & Training:
  • Supervise, train, and mentor the Housekeeping team, fostering a culture of service excellence.
  • Conduct regular training to enhance skills and uphold brand standards.
  • Operations & Inventory Management:
  • Oversee housekeeping processes, purchasing, and inventory, ensuring efficiency and cost control.
  • Maintain a structured inspection and preventive maintenance program.
  • Health & Safety Compliance:
  • Uphold strict hygiene, safety, and security standards.
  • Conduct periodic chemical and safety training for staff.
  • Leadership Support:
  • Act as department head in the absence of the Executive Housekeeper.
  • Supervise housemen, coordinators, and third-party cleaning services to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications:

Essential Qualifications:

  • Languages: Fluent in Italian and English (spoken & written).
  • Technology & Systems: Proficiency in OPERA PMS, Microsoft Office, and housekeeping software.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in a managerial role within an international luxury hotel.
  • Skills & Attributes:
  • Strong leadership, team-building, and communication skills.
  • Highly organized, with a keen eye for detail.

Desirable Attributes:

  • Experience: 1 year in an entry-level housekeeping management role.
  • Additional Languages: Knowledge of other foreign languages is an advantage.
