Job Description As our Assistant Executive Housekeeping Manager, you will play a key leadership role in ensuring our property is presented to the highest standard of cleanliness, organisation, and guest readiness. You will support the Executive Housekeeper with a focus on achieving high standards of cleanliness for guest rooms, public areas, back of house areas and supporting in guiding the housekeeping team. your responsibilities will include (but not limited to): Assist in the daily checking of designated team member areas to maintain standards. Inspect public areas to ensure they meet the hotel’s cleanliness and maintenance standards. Train, mentor, and support housekeeping team members to ensure consistency and productivity. Handle guest requests and concerns related to housekeeping services. Ensure the efficient use of cleaning supplies and equipment. Report and follow up on maintenance issues to ensure quick resolution. Ensure adherence to hotel policies, hygiene procedures, and safe work practices. Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience: Proven experience in a similar high-paced role. Strong leadership attributes. Clear communication to lead and develop the Housekeeping Team. Positive stakeholder management with the ability to collaborate with multiple departments. A solutions-focused individual with a strategic mindset and the ability to think proactively. Excellent attention to detail and delivery of quality. Problem solving skills to ensure the day runs smoothly.
