SCHOOL OF BUSINESS EXTERNAL RELATIONS SECTION Assistant Executive Officer (25260491) The External Relations Section is looking for a high-calibre and proactive candidate to join the External Relations Section (ERS) in the position of Assistant Executive Officer. The appointee will engage primarily in promotion and publicity initiatives across official social and digital channels, school events, and the operational administration of the Section. Responsibilities: Support social feed and website news writing, and arrange for scheduled posting; Support administration for social media reporting, purchasing and expense, and section operations such as meeting minutes preparation and section calendar management; Support video production and administration; Manage event logistics and liaison with stakeholders and vendors; Update the school website and various social media platforms; and Perform other duties as assigned by the Section Manager or his/her delegates. Requirements: A recognised university degree preferably in any subject in translation, communications, marketing, or related disciplines; Minimum of two years of solid experience in marketing, public relations and/or administrative support. Preference will be given to those who worked in the tertiary education sector or sizable organisations; An excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, including fluency in Cantonese; Be familiar with social media platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, WeChat, Xiaohongshu, Weibo; Experience in designing visuals using design softwares such as Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop, as highly preferred; and Have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure. The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of two years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement.
