About the role
A unique and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Assistant Fabric Technologist to join our F&F Team here at Tesco.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the development, testing, and approval of fabrics across our collections. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for textiles, a keen eye for detail, and a desire to grow within a fast-paced fashion environment.
You’ll work in our raw materials team on all aspects of fabric quality and compliance. Taking a leading role in projects on data to ensure transparency and preparation for incoming legislation, in addition to supporting designers, buyers, and suppliers to ensure fabric quality, performance, and compliance meet our brand standards.
This role would suit someone who has a degree in textiles, with minimum 2years industry experience; an understanding of fibre, yarns and fabric construction, fabric dyeing, printing and finishing processes. A passion for product, sustainability and circularity is essential.
