    Responsibilities

    PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

    We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Assistant Facilities Manager to join our on-site team supporting one of South Australia’s most exciting large-scale infrastructure projects. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you will lead a small team while working closely with the client, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless facilities operations across a fast-paced and high-profile environment.
    This is a newly created role, offering the chance to help shape processes during a period of significant site growth.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Oversee day-to-day facilities operations and ensure contract KPIs are met
    • Manage and mentor a small on-site team
    • Coordinate preventive and reactive maintenance activities via CMMS
    • Liaise with the client, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver exceptional service
    • Monitor budgets, review invoices, and assist with reporting
    • Ensure compliance with WHS, environmental, and quality standards
