We are looking for a highly driven individual, with a real passion for food and customer service. A strong advantage, but not essential, would be an experienced ability of working with greengrocery.
This is for a 5 day working week and must include a Sunday.
Duties will include reporting to our Farm Shop Manager, with tasks including supervision of the shop floor and ensuring company policies and legal requirements are adhered to. Positives would include being adaptable within our small family business, with a strong sense of passion, commitment, and reliability.
The role:
· Supporting our Farm Shop Manager with day-to-day operations and overseeing expectations on their days off.
· Ensuring that customer experience is of excellent quality.
· Helping to maximise sales opportunities through visual merchandising and supportive information.
· Motivating and helping to manage any staff training which is needed.
· Maintaining high standards of cleanliness
· Helping to manage stock control/rotation
· Supervising deliveries for accuracy and dealing with paperwork/credit notes.
· Liaising with other departments regarding any potential issues that may arise.
· Assisting with ordering.
The ideal candidate:
· will have a proven track record in a similar retail environment
· is enthused by sales targets and driven with results.
· will be highly organised, accurate and reliable with have excellent attention to detail.
· have previous experience with till systems.
· will be a team player, energetic, enthusiastic and dynamic.
· has passion when it comes to food quality, traceability and knowledge with field to fork.
· show excellent customer service skills.
· is professional and well-presented.
· This is a physically demanding role which require speed, strength and a good level of physical fitness.
