Responsibilities

In this pivotal role, you will be the hub of our onsite operations, ensuring the efficient and timely assembly and startup of new lighting systems. Your mission is to foster the synergy between ideas and execution, helping to turn visionary projects into reality.
What You Will Do: You’ll be at the center of it all—supporting our lighting systems installations from planning to final walkthrough.

Expect to:

  • Be the go-to person onsite: communicate, collaborate and coordinate installers, subcontractors, and our internal teams
  • Visit job sites regularly to keep projects moving smoothly
  • Represent Barbizon and be a crucial voice in meetings with clients and trades
  • Track project progress, flag risks, and keep everyone in the loop
  • Know the lifecycle of project schedules; ensure the team stays on task
  • Take ownership of assigned projects from kickoff to completion
  • Organize and supervise on-site activities like fixture prep, hang, and focus
  • Help create training materials and run client training sessions
  • Share your knowledge and expertise with both clients and coworkers
  • Foster a high standard of communication and teamwork; keep project documentation on point by generating daily reports and updates.
  • Identify and manage the intricacies of onsite politics and relationships.
  • Provide excellent Customer Service.

  • Experienced in lighting for stage or studio (required) and in stage rigging (bonus)!
