Ensure compliance with local statutory requirements, company policies, and international accounting principles. Supervise daily accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, general ledger, and bank reconciliations. Support the budgeting and forecasting process; monitor and analyze budget variances. Assist in preparing management reports and financial analysis to support operational decision-making. Maintain robust internal control procedures to safeguard hotel assets. Coordinate with internal and external auditors, ensuring all required documentation is accurate and complete. Participate in cost control initiatives, providing insights to improve profitability. Oversee the month-end closing process and ensure timely submission of reports to head office. Train and guide junior finance team members to maintain a high standard of accounting practices. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, or CMA is a plus). Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting/finance experience within an international hotel environment. Strong knowledge of Uniform System. Excellent command of spoken and written English; additional languages are an advantage. Proficiency in hotel accounting systems (e.g., Opera or similar) and Microsoft Office applications Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills with high attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
