About the Role: We are seeking a motivated individual to join our Internal Financial Reporting Unit as the Assistant Finance Business Partner. The Financial Management Unit within the Chief Financial Officer Division delivers high quality, consistent financial and business management support to the Divisions of Canberra Health Services, working closely with key stakeholders. The Unit is responsible for developing and managing budgets and plays a critical role in monitoring and enhancing performance against agreed indicators and targets. Assistant Finance Managers provide operational support to Finance Business Partners in a range of services such as budget preparation, reporting, forecasting, analysis, and financial and business support to Divisions within the Canberra Health Services Directorate. As the primary contact for these Divisions for financial support, the Assistant Finance Manager will be flexible in meeting changing priorities and adaptable in working with a variety of different stakeholder groups. Please note this is an 8-month position with a possibility of extension up to 12 months and/or permanency from this recruitment process.
