Major Duties and Responsibilities The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following: Assisting the Finance Manager to oversee month-end and year-end close; Preparing consolidated financial statements and management accounts for the University; Preparing financial statements for externally-funded projects; Preparing standard operating procedures; Coordinating audit matters and tax filings; Performing financial analysis, including Key Performance Indicators and cash flow forecast; and Other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by management Candidates Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence: A recognized degree in accountancy or equivalent; Qualified accountant with at least 4 years’ post-qualification experience gained from sizable companies or organizations; Self-motivated, organized with strong communication skill and sense of ownership; Able to work in a dynamic environment under pressure and tight timelines; Logical mind with service mindset, self-motivated with strong sense of responsibility; and Hands-on experience in relevant areas is highly desirable.
