What You’ll Do As an Assistant Fleet Mechanic, you will support the Lead Mechanic with the maintenance, inspection, and repair of company vehicles, vans, trucks, excavation equipment, and tools used across our operations. Responsibilities include: Performing preventive maintenance such as oil changes, fluid checks, filter replacements, and lubrication Assisting with inspections and repairs on brakes, steering, suspension systems, batteries, belts, hoses, and exhaust systems Supporting maintenance and repairs on fleet vehicles and heavy equipment Assisting with diagnostics and troubleshooting mechanical issues Helping maintain clean, organized, and safe shop and work environments Transporting vehicles, picking up parts, and assisting with fleet upkeep Learning hands-on mechanical skills from experienced technicians and leadership What We’re Looking For High School Diploma or GED preferred Previous mechanical, automotive, construction, or equipment experience is a plus Comfortable working with hand tools and power tools Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable attendance and positive attitude Interest in growing within the company and skilled trades industry Why Join Haven Services with Ken Neyer Plumbing?
