We need an energetic, proactive, and customer-focused Assistant FOH Supervisor / Barista to join our friendly team and assist our FOH Supervisor.
This is a full-time permanent role working 5 days/shifts per week across the 7 days of the week with flexibility a key requirement.

Responsibilities:

  • To work as a Barista, greet and serve customers, using your expert product knowledge to advise customers on choices and maximise sales, ensuring food and drinks are served to their tables promptly.
  • To stand in for the FOH Supervisor when they are on a scheduled day off (2 days a week) or otherwise absent.
  • To assist the FOH Supervisor in all aspects of Front of House management including:

o Ensuring the delivery of the highest standards in terms of customer experience, cleanliness, and Health & Safety.
o Ordering, checking and storing deliveries, ensuring adequate supplies at all times.
o Resolving customer queries in a calm and professional manner.
o Ensuring Company policies and procedures such as cleaning schedules, food safety, staff hygiene, staff uniform, are understood and followed every day.
o Assisting with staff training, development, annual reviews, motivation and general queries/issues.

o Assisting with rota preparation and holiday requests.

  • To assist other areas, or delegate tasks as necessary to ensure the smooth running of the business.

What we are looking for:

  • Please note, this is not just a Supervisory role, Barista experience is essential.
  • Experience of supervising or managing staff within a hospitality environment.
  • Strong customer service and organizational skills.
  • Administrative skills and experience of using Microsoft Office.
  • Experience of managing and resolving customer queries and / or complaints.
  • A positive and engaging personality.
  • Great interpersonal skills.
  • Strong task and time management abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent command of English.
