Culinaire, part of the Compass Group US, is hiring an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to work at the Meyerson Symphony Center that is located in the heart of downtown Dallas.
The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager candidate must be familiar with a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures related to catering, food, beverage, restaurants, outlets, service standards, and logistical requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Assign workstations and specific job duties in opening/closing and side duties
  • Responsible for set-up and cleanup of all banquet functions, concessions, outlets, and restaurants
  • Must interpret and execute table layout and diagram for catered events
  • Anticipate and plan for adequate operational supplies to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Must ensure that all standards within specific time frames
  • Must have in-depth knowledge of the menu and an ability to give a good “flavorful” description of the items to both the banquet staff and guests
  • Enforces banquet uniform standards
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with our clients and building staff
  • Establish and maintain good employee relations through effective hiring, positive motivation, training and development
  • Responsible for the overall financial success of the operation through monthly forecast of performance to budget and plan
  • Track revenue and labor on a daily basis
  • Assist with ordering of beverage and food inventory for concessions and supplies
  • Analyze and initiate action to improve product, company image and profitability
  • Ensure strict compliance with cash handling procedures and reconciliation of the daily receipts
  • Must ensure that opening and closing duties have been successful completed
  • Establish and maintain a professional environment
