JOB SUMMARY:

The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager plays a key leadership role in ensuring seamless execution of all food and beverage operations at Infinity Convention Centre. This position is responsible for supervising daily operations, upholding service standards, monitoring quality, and maintaining compliance with all company policies, procedures, and legal requirements. The Assistant Manager supports staffing, scheduling, supply ordering, and budget management while ensuring that both client expectations and financial objectives are consistently achieved.

Responsibilities

· Supervise and support day-to-day food & beverage operations
· Monitor and enforce compliance with all F&B policies, health & safety standards, and operational procedures
· Assist with ordering and inventory control of beverages, cleaning supplies, and uniforms
· Ensure proper staffing levels to balance excellent guest service with operational efficiency
· Coordinate and supervise cleaning and maintenance programs in all F&B areas
· Staff Management & Development
· Train, motivate, and support staff to deliver exceptional service
· Provide clear communication of expectations, feedback, and areas of improvement
· Act as a visible leader during events, remaining approachable to both clients and guests
· Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly with professionalism and care
· Review client feedback and work with the team to implement improvements
· Review payroll, operating statements, and event performance reports
· Provide reports, updates, and recommendations to senior management
· Step into hourly operational roles when required to support the team
· Support event execution with flexibility, professionalism, and attention to detail
· Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs
