Job Title: Assistant Food & Beverage Manager
Reports to: Food & Beverage Director
Department: Food & Beverage
Location: Union League Liberty Hill (800 Ridge Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA 19444)
This is a MORNING position. Shifts start at 7am daily.

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Self-directed and proactive

  • Excellent customer service
  • Detail-oriented – accurate data entry, strong oral and written communication
  • 3 years of food and beverage experience required
  • 1 years of food and beverage management experience preferred but not required
  • Weekends and holidays/flexible work schedule
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows/PC. Ability to learn computer programs such as Outlook 365, Accubar, Jonas, Sevenrooms, and ADP

Responsibilities
  • Works with Director of Food and Beverage and Human Resources to hire and schedule all front of house staff.
  • Implements policies and procedures for food and beverage in keeping with the League’s standards.
  • Manages the long-range staffing needs of the department – servers, honor bar attendants, etc.
  • Monitors and take corrective action as necessary, to ensure that the sales and cost goals are attained.
  • Ensures that all safety and sanitation procedures are in implemented and followed.
  • Actively manages service on the floor, while building rapport with both staff and members.
  • Manages large party reservations and stays on top of large groups in house.
  • Has excellent service recovery. Handles and tracks member and guest complaints.
  • Makes members and guests experiences personal.
  • Work closely with the PM shift, type/print menus as needed, set up dining room as needed.
  • Develops and measures interesting ways of promoting and marketing dining functions.
  • Works with the Director and Marquis Managers on strategic planning for the room.
  • Records all sales in excel. Submits monthly numbers/summaries shared spreadsheet.
  • Understands staff service charges and work with other F&B managers to complete payroll.
  • Other duties as assigned.
