JOB DESCRIPTION: ASSISTANT FOOD AND BEVERAGE MANAGER

Our facility provides a range of amenities that promote personal well-being—mental, physical, and social—including a luxurious beauty spa, various pool styles, nutritious eateries, unique lounges, hydrotherapy pools, saunas, and more.
We are seeking a dedicated & creative Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to join our growing team and assist in overseeing the seamless operation of our food and beverage services. This is a dynamic, leadership-focused role where you will shape the dining experience for our exclusive members while ensuring the smooth day-to-day management of kitchen and bar operations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 1-2 years experience, with a strong focus on food and beverage management.
• Culinary or food service management degree preferred, but not required.
• In-depth knowledge of the food industry, including food preparation, beverage service, and inventory control.
• Exceptional leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to forecast food and beverage needs, plan accordingly, and adjust operations to meet demand.
• Knowledge of customer service best practices, with a focus on creating an upscale and welcoming atmosphere.
• Experience in Japanese restaurants and cuisine is a plus, but not necessary. Knowledge of sushi-making or Asian cuisine is a bonus.

• Menu Design & Development: Assist in creating innovative and appealing specials that reflect Balian Springs’ health-focused, luxury brand. Continuously improve and adjust the offerings to keep them fresh and aligned with current food trends.
• Inventory & Supply Management: Forecast, plan, source, and order food and beverage supplies while ensuring inventory levels are maintained appropriately. Oversee stocking of the bar and fridges, ordering supplies, and managing waste efficiently.
• Vendor Relationship Management: Build strong, positive relationships with food and beverage suppliers, ensuring high-quality products and optimal pricing.
• Staffing & Training: Hire, train, and manage a team of food and beverage professionals. Ensure staff are highly skilled in customer service, food safety, and the execution of menus.
• Compliance & Safety: Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations. Ensure all food and beverage operations are in compliance with local health and safety standards.
• Customer Experience: Provide excellent customer service through both direct engagement and strategic planning, ensuring a high standard of dining for our members.
• Event Support: Assist with food and beverage aspects of marketing events and special member functions, contributing to a top-tier experience.
