Carmel Country Club is looking for an experienced and professional Assistant Food and Beverage Manager. This role is responsible for assisting management in creating a memorable experience for our Members and their Guests by achieving the highest level of satisfaction with a focus on exceptional service and dining.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of Three years working in a Food & Beverage Environment with a strong track record of progression
  • Bachelor Degree in Hospitality and Tourism Preferred
  • Entry level wine knowledge preferred

Responsibilities
  • Communicate daily with the Director of F&B Operations to ensure a coordinated effort at providing a quality experience for all members and guests
  • Ensure compliance with prescribed standards in the areas of guest satisfaction, food & beverage cost, labor cost, safety, sanitation and product preparation
  • Actively monitor member services to ensure standards of operation constantly meet or exceed the presently established guidelines
  • Consistently demonstrates accuracy, thoroughness, neatness and dependability to produce results in a timely and cost-effective manner
  • Enforce all the club rules and regulations governing the use of the facilities
  • Operate and maintain dining areas staffed with knowledgeable and competent personnel
  • Maintain high visibility in dining rooms to welcome members and their guests and to ensure prompt, efficient and knowledgeable service
  • Test team members with service exams on a regular basis as part of ongoing training
  • Help develop/implement Food & Beverage standard of service and training program for all new employees
  • Assist with performance reviews of team members
  • Assist with recruiting and interviewing of prospective team members
  • Attend all relevant operational meetings
  • Complete daily/weekly/monthly reports as required
  • Assist with scheduling and payroll duties
