The Four Seasons Resort O’ahu at Ko Olina is looking for an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager who has a passion for excellence and the spirit of aloha. The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager reports directly to the respective assigned department head.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • College degree in hospitality management preferred but not required.
  • 2-3 years management experience in luxury F&B restaurant recommended.
  • Strong knowledge of food & beverage service, cost control, labor control, maintenance, merchandising and accounting
  • Strong systems knowledge using Salesforce, Micros, Hotsos, Avero, Opera; preferred but not required.
  • Computer literacy for Microsoft office; Outlook, Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to lead by example, train and motivate the team
  • Ability to multitask and deliver exceptional service at high volumes
  • Successful candidates must possess legal work authorization in the United States.

Responsibilities:

  • Have the ability to be visible in the operation, provide recognition, promote good public relations and handle complaints, concerns or special requests for guests, clients, and group contacts.
  • Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline employees and supervisors in the Food & Beverage outlet to ensure that established cultural and core standards are met; daily activities and planning for outlet operation.
  • Coordinate daily requirements for the outlet operations, communicate directly with guests and other members of the leadership team, culinary and stewarding to ensure that the operation is carried out and ensure quality and timeliness of all food items.
  • Control labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling, budgeting, purchasing decisions, inventory and cash control.
  • Develop guest rapport and achieve strong guest comment card scores consistently above benchmark.
  • Manage all beverage and food menus to effectively deliver five diamond/ five star product.
