ASSISTANT FRONT OFFICE MANAGER

Location: Knightsbrook Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort – Trim, Co. Meath
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Reports to: Front Office Manager

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a hotel supervisory role.
  • Strong background in the hotel industry is an advantage but not essential.
  • Experience with Guestline or ResDiary is an advantage but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Availability to 5 days over 7 day working week
Responsibilities

THE ROLE

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Assistant Front Office Manager to join our professional and highly skilled Front Office team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a hospitality professional who is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences, supporting team development, and maintaining the highest standards of service in a busy 4-star hotel environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the Front Office Manager in the smooth day-to-day running of the Front Office and Reception operations.
  • Plan, organise, and oversee the Reception Department in conjunction with the Reservations Manager.
  • Ensure all team members are fully trained in their roles and provide exceptional guest care at all times.
  • Carry out all Reception duties as per the department training manual.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and reconcile at the end of each shift.
  • Manage accommodation reservations and provide information when the Reservations Department is closed.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements for staff, guests, and visitors.
  • Undertake any other reasonable tasks as requested by senior management.
