We are currently seeking a dedicated, resourceful and proactive Assistant Front of House Manager - Nights to oversee our overnight operations across Front of House, Housekeeping, and Security. This pivotal role ensures that our guests experience seamless service and that our estate operates smoothly and safely throughout the night.
The on target earning potential for this role is £42,365 / per annum - comprising a base salary of £37,365, plus a qualified estimate of £5,000 in gratuities and service charge.* As a member of the Gleneagles team, you will also enjoy a fantastic range of perks, benefits and rewards.
You’ll be working 39 hours, 5 days from 7, from 11.30pm to 7.30am.

Responsibilities
  • As the senior leader on duty overnight, you’ll provide calm, confident guidance across our Front of House, Housekeeping, and Security teams, ensuring every guest interaction reflects the warmth, care, and excellence at the heart of Gleneagles
  • You’ll handle late-night guest enquiries and concerns with grace and professionalism, offering thoughtful, solutions-focused responses that leave guests feeling reassured, valued, and well cared for
  • With precision and diligence, you’ll manage night audit procedures, maintaining accurate records, ensuring all financial reporting is correct, and preparing clear, insightful handovers to support a seamless transition to the day team
  • You’ll run key overnight reports, such as Rate Checks, and ensure that billing for the following day is fully accurate, upholding the highest standards of operational integrity
  • Responsible for the safety and security of the estate during your shift, you’ll conduct regular checks and respond swiftly to any emergencies; leading our overnight response with clarity and composure, prioritising the wellbeing of our guests and people while minimising disruption
  • When required, you’ll liaise with emergency services professionally and efficiently, ensuring all incidents are properly recorded, followed up, and communicated to our senior leadership team
  • You’ll lead by example, delivering discreet, intuitive, and anticipatory service that sets the tone for your team and upholds our reputation, even in the quietest hours
  • Working collaboratively with departments across the estate, you’ll help set the stage for the day ahead, coordinating plans, anticipating needs, and ensuring our guests’ arrival experience is seamless
  • In partnership with our Housekeeping Night Manager and Supervisors, you’ll ensure that our public areas remain immaculate throughout the night, and that any special Housekeeping requests are fulfilled with care and precision
  • Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us luxurious in every way
