JOB OVERVIEW

Best Western Calcot Hotel has 80 Bedrooms, C&E from 10 to 180 is approx. 25 Miles from London with Reading station 3 miles away from Hotel.
We are looking for an Assistant Front Office Manager to -:
Assist in managing the day-to-day front office operation of the hotel to maximize revenue and occupancy and ensuring superior service and product quality are maintained.
Duties and Responsibilities
· To assist in all aspects of the hotel Reception Operation
· To promote and deliver excellence in the Customer Journey
· Ensure all guest arrivals and departures are handled in line with Company procedures ensuring maximum levels of service and efficiency
· Ensure all guest issues are dealt with professionally in a timely manner and are resolved to guest satisfaction. Escalate to Senior Management where necessary.
· Actively promote all hotel products and services
· Maximise all revenue opportunities and upsells
· Take accountability for all reception financial transactions ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately. Highlighting any discrepancies to Accounts and Operations Manager.
· To be accountable for all cash, floats and safe whilst on duty.
· lead and develop a team. Identify weaknesses, provide specific on the job training and take full responsibility for team performance.
· Work in conjunction with Nights team to ensure that there is a smooth transition between Day & Nights.
· Undertake Duty Management shifts in accordance with the Rota
· To act as Fire Marshall and take an active role in Fire Safety Training
· Adhere to and observe Health & Safety at all times
· Report and record any Maintenance/ Repairs
· Maintain Risk Assessments
· Crisis Safety Management
· Ensure communication levels between all other departments remain strong through, verbal, email and written handover
· Promote a professional, friendly and welcoming environment for all employees, guests and visitors
· Carry out any other reasonable duties as deemed appropriate by the Operations Manager/ General Manager
