Ocean Edge Resort & Golf Club is seeking qualified candidates for a Full-Time Year-Round Assistant Front Office Manager. The Assistant Manager helps create a great first impression to our guests. The right candidate for this important role will be friendly, outgoing, professional, have a positive demeanor and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Registering guests into the computer, verifying their reservation, address and credit information, and accepting payments for guests’ accounts both at time of registration and checkout.
  • Assigning specific tasks to Front Desk Agents as applicable and provide ongoing training and support to Front Desk Agents.
  • Overseeing the daily operation of the front desk and becoming an integral part of the guest’s hotel stay.
  • Monitoring the front desk and lobby areas to ensure they are kept clean, always organized and staffed.
  • Ensuring that correct information on rates, packages and promotions is available at the front desk and that all staff are knowledgeable on such.
  • Reviewing daily business levels, anticipating critical situations and assisting in planning effective solutions to best expedite these situations.
  • Review all information pertinent to the day’s business.
  • Constantly monitoring staff performance and ensure that all procedures are carried out according to departmental standards.
  • Monitoring guest mail, boxes, messages and faxes. Ensure that all are handled according to hotel procedures.
  • Anticipating guests’ needs, responding promptly and acknowledging all guests.

Key Requirements Include:
Preference will be given to candidates with hotel/resort Front Desk experience or Managerial experience in Customer Service.

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
