Join HCSC and be part of a purpose-driven company that will invest in your professional development.
This is an opportunity for a motivated lawyer to advise HCSC on privacy, data, digital, and information security issues impacting health care and adjacent industries. This leader will provide practical and forward-thinking legal advice on moderately complex projects relating to privacy, data, digital, and information security, including negotiation of complex data use, privacy and vendor agreements, counseling on new technologies and cyber security, counseling on privacy incident response, implementation of new legal requirements, and other miscellaneous business initiatives. Additionally, this leader will provide legal support on more routine day-to-day business matters with reasonable degree of independence; as well as counsel on potential emerging areas of risk and regulation related to privacy, security and data. Work with the business and legal colleagues on implementation of new requirements. In a highly complex and evolving legal and technology environment, the ideal candidate will provide sound, actionable legal advice on regulatory, business, and operational matters.
