Description

The Assistant General Counsel will report to the General Counsel in the Legal Department to assist in the completion of all legal tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently manage and oversee multiple components of real estate transactions.
  • Draft contract of sales, promissory notes and lease agreements and closing statements.
  • Review and analyze due diligence items for real estate transactions, including, title report, leases and corporate documents.
  • Handle open matters and interact with insurance carriers and outside counsel through resolution.
  • Exhibit strong business acumen and the ability to identify and mitigate risks while maximizing opportunities for the company.
  • Handle general miscellaneous legal duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in real estate preferred but not required.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • JD degree from an accredited law school and admission (or pending admission) to the NY, CT, IL or PA bar.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
