As an Assistant General Manager, you’ll be the heartbeat of store operations — supporting your General Manager, boosting performance, and ensuring every guest leaves happy. Your key responsibilities include: * Opening/closing the store & maintaining a clean, safe, operationally excellent environment * Overseeing cash handling and POS procedures * Helping manage inventory ordering, receiving, and tracking * Recruiting, onboarding, coaching, and scheduling team members * Leading by example using J Team Service Standards while performing lube services * Creating a positive guest experience & resolving concerns with professionalism * Ensuring Environmental, Health & Safety compliance * Taking full ownership of operations when the GM is away Requirements (What You Bring) * Valid driver’s license * At least 1 year of retail management experience (Automotive, Fast Food, Retail, etc.) * Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, percentages) * Clear communication skills (written & verbal) * Ability to confidently use computers, internet tools, and complete required forms * Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift 50+ lbs., bend, reach, climb, etc. * Comfortable working in enclosed or semi‑outdoor environments * Authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available) Preferred Qualifications * Strong customer service mindset * Dependable, detail‑oriented, and professional * Proven leadership & team development skills * Dedicated to safety * Growth‑oriented with a willingness to train and learn * Strong multitasking ability in a busy, fast‑moving environment Benefits & Perks (We Take Care of Our Team!)
