A rare opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Assistant General Manager to join Scotland’s most exciting independent restaurant company.
Bucks Bar is an American-style diner serving Scotland’s best chicken burgers, great drinks, and rock ‘n’ roll vibes every day. We’re a busy, vibrant, and proudly independent brand with a loyal following, and we’re now searching for an Assistant General Manager to join our management team at our flagship restaurant.

The Manager

• Possesses a hands on approach to supporting the team during service
• Excels in customer care skills and always puts the guest first
• Has at least 1 years AGM/Senior Supervisor experience in a high volume dining establishment
• Is focused on managing stocks, controllable costs and wages
• Has a can-do approach to problem solving
• Can motivate their team and recruit wisely

Experience:

• Assistant General Manager: 1 year (preferred)
• Restaurant management: 1 year (required

• Oversee daily operations and ensure high standards of customer service are met.
• Manage and train staff, fostering a positive team environment.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in all areas.
• Assist in food preparation and cooking as needed, while monitoring kitchen activities.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Collaborate with management to develop and implement operational strategies.
