SFE is looking for strong candidates to join our team! We are seeking an Assistant General Manager to oversee foodservice operations with Hays CISD in Kyle, TX.

Responsibilities
  • Manages hourly associates in the Food Service Department
  • Assists the General Manager in overseeing the overall management, direct client interface, direction and quality of the account
  • Creates program innovation efforts to ensure academic success through feeding more students
  • Establishes and maintains excellent relationships with District Administrative staff and Board of Trustees.
  • Involvement with the hiring, training and development of staff. Plans, assigns, and directs work; appraises performance; rewards and disciplines associates; addresses complaints and resolves problems
  • Assists with district annual budget and manages labor, food costs and other elements to deliver to targets
  • On time completion of required daily/weekly/monthly reports such as inventory, production records, payroll/timekeeping, etc.
  • Oversees and participates in the preparation and service of food and beverage items in adherence to company food standards for preparation, presentation, sanitation and safety (meeting HACCP and OSHA guidelines) and portion control
  • Achieve company objectives in sales, service, quality, appearance of facility and sanitation and cleanliness through training of employees and creating a positive, productive working environment
  • Control cash and other receipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures in accordance with company and the districts policies and procedures
  • Fill in where needed to ensure customer service standards and efficient operations
  • Develop, plan and carry out company marketing and promotional activities
