JOB OVERVIEW
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team. The Assistant General Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the General Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving business growth.
QUALIFICATIONS
Proven experience in a supervisory or management role in the food service industry, preferably in a bakery/restaurant environment.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with customers, staff, and vendors.
Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
Proficiency in basic computer software and point-of-sale systems.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
Assist the General Manager in managing all aspects of the bakery/restaurant, including but not limited to, staff supervision, inventory management, and customer satisfaction.
Supervise and train staff members, ensuring they deliver top-notch service and adhere to company policies and procedures.
Collaborate with the General Manager to develop and implement strategies to increase sales, improve efficiency, and enhance the overall dining experience.
Oversee inventory control, ordering, and receiving to maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing waste.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Handle customer inquiries, comments, and complaints promptly and professionally, striving to resolve issues to their satisfaction.
Assist in creating and implementing marketing initiatives, promotions, and events to attract and retain customers.
Monitor financial performance, including revenue and expenses, and contribute to budget planning and forecasting.
Stay updated on industry trends, competition, and market demands to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
Support the General Manager in any other duties and responsibilities as needed.
