We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has 2+ years in hotel operations or supervisory roles (Front Desk Lead, Operations Manager, etc.).
  • Communicates clearly, leads with integrity, and thrives in a team-driven environment.
  • Understands how to blend guest satisfaction with operational efficiency and financial goals.
  • Enjoys a hands-on role and can comfortably move between the front desk, housekeeping, and back office.
  • Is detail-oriented, comfortable with property management systems (we’ll train), and thrives on solving problems.
  • Has a valid Food Handler’s Card and driver’s license with insurance (or is willing to obtain them quickly).

Responsibilities

YOUR ROLE: ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER

As Assistant General Manager (AGM), you will be the General Manager’s trusted partner and a leader across all hotel departments. You’ll oversee daily operations, support staff development, and ensure that every guest receives the dependable, friendly service that defines the Holiday Inn Express experience.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Managing daily operations including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and breakfast service.
  • Supporting and leading staff by modeling professionalism, reliability, and team spirit.
  • Delivering an outstanding guest experience through proactive service and issue resolution.
  • Assisting with financial performance, including occupancy goals, cost controls, and profitability.
  • Maintaining brand standards in cleanliness, safety, and service across the property.
  • Handling guest concerns, staffing needs, and emergencies as they arise.
  • Acting as the manager-on-duty when the General Manager is unavailable.
